Just received the new Music Direct audio porn catalog and took notice of the Audioquest Jitterbug which is described as USB Data & Power Noise Filter. Looked at a few reviews, of which most were positive. Thought I would give it a shot at $50 USD. I have the Premium Sound package and I'm running a Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex 500GB HD with Apple Lossy music. The marketing department at Audioquest says that the Jitterbug will reduce noise and ringing on the USB port, measurably reduces jitter and packet errors, and improves dynamic contrast, warmth and resolution. Ran it in the car without motor running on both 2 channel and surround. I'll be damn, it did reduce distortion which increased resolution. The sound was clearer, not as forward and an increase depth in the midrange. As far as improved dynamic contrast; didn't hear it and increased warmth; weird claim which I don't agree with. I'll give a thumbs up!
