This was a video sent to PH with a very modest message: "I don't know if this is something of interest, but I was at the Nurburgring a couple of weeks ago and drove the Nordschleife in 7min 30secs" Consider us intrigued...
It continues: "What you might appreciate is the added foot camera, that shows what's going on with the feet during a hot lap." Doesn't sound too bad, does it?
It's a brilliant video, even by the standards of the 'ring laps we have featured. It's precise, accurate and so damn fast. The M3 is supercharged and stripped but it's still running a manual gearbox and the track isn't empty either. To therefore record a 7:30 is frankly absurd, particularly with the speed limits still in place. If you need some tips on how to drive the Nurburgring then here is probably a good place to start!
