At least in California anyway. Looked to trade early (lease up in March) so dealer looked at my car with $32,250 residual value ($54,650 new) and reports back that they are selling in auction for $26,000. I guess I was surprised at how much below the residual it was.
No big deal since I am odering a new car (2016 Mustang GT Premium) that will arrive before my lease is up. So for those looking for a nice, used 335i, I would find somebody who can buy one at auction for you. This might mean residuals might come down on new ones because BMW is taking a beating on lease turnins. Good luck
