Have an opportunity to buy an Oct 14 build BMW X5 50i from a diplomatic mission in Moscow, vehicle was purchased in Nov 14 and has been garaged since then with 10 miles on the odometer. Country of origin is Germany.
US MSRP on similarly specd vehicle is $97k, purchase price is $60k plus ~$5k insured shipped in a container to Houston port.
Does anyone have experience importing European specd cars to the US, what are the implications? Not sure what factory warranty would apply to an imported vehicle if any?
