The drive (left) side turn signal light (2008 E90) is not working --- it blinks very fast. I thought that the bulb was out, so I swapped the left and right turn signal bulbs (with socket), but still it blinks very fast. So, this means that the bulb and socket are working fine and then took my car to a dealer, who said to me that I need to replace the whole left side headlight assembly because the socket was melted.
The replacement of the headlight is rather expensive ($900+). Is it possible to repair the headlight to avoid the replacement, or are there any other better solutions? Thank you so much.
