I bought the split armrest from a local company however it did not come with the spring or gear. I can find the spring, but the gear is not sold separately. Can I use the spring without the gear, or should I just forget about it and leave it as is. I don't really want to send this one back and have to wait months for the new one with gear and spring. Opinions welcomed! Thanks in advance.
