No, not the driving range. The other one. Where there are unmentionables.
What I learned from that was that while at 4 meters I could pretty much place a little itsy bitsy piece of metal precisely where I wanted (and I do mean precisely...not an inch to the left or right or something), at 5 meters, this was no longer the case. Then there were margins of error of at least an inch. Funny the difference one meter makes in exposing flaws.
And at 25 meters, I was simply happy to be anywhere in the rings. I just don't get out enough - it had been 8 months since I'd been, just can't seem to find the time.
Plus its a pain in the butt, rules are must go straight to range by most direct route, no stopping along the way, and must then go straight home. And heaven help you if you don't have your PAL, your ATT, and your ownership with you, along with said unmentionable securely locked up, separate from ammo. Only bright side is the idiots in charge up here have decided that as of September we will not require a separate ATT (authorization to transport), that instead it will be automatic as part of having a PAL (possession and acquisition license). So that will be one less document I'll have to carry.
Anyone else have any stories? Remember, no pictures.
