Hub bore size and spacers

dimanche 14 décembre 2014

Been googling around for a bit trying to find a solution to a problem.

My BBS LMR reps have 73.1 centre bores and my hubs are 72.6 so leaving a tiny gap of 0.5mm

It doesn't seem that spigot rings in that size are easily available - if at all!

My next thought was, can hubcentric spacers help me? I need spacers on the front anyway.

So my question is (and I cant find any so may have already answered my own question) can I get hubcentric spacers that have a 72.6 centre to sit in my hub that then have an outer bore of 73.1 to fit my wheels?

I've been lucky so far in that the wobble created by this tiny gap has and is barely noticeable but it's still not something I want to have.

My other thought was buying larger bore spacers and using a spigot to fit them to the hub and them having the outer bore machined down to the 73.1 for my wheels (I thought of this as someone suggested having the wheels machined to a larger bore but I don't want to do that incase they bugger it up.

Any help, links, suggestions are more than welcome

Cheers
