Not sure if this issue is an isolated one, had a Google around and not found any other mention of it.
When braking fairly heavily which to be honest is fairly infrequent, I find that when pressing the brake pedal down the tip of my shoe catches on a plastic lip that sticks out of the bulkhead that's fitted on the underside of the dashboard. When doing so instead of the force from my foot being transmitted into the brake pedal it goes into the lower bulkhead. The end result it's that on more than one occasion I've been close to rear ending the car infront.
Quite a dangerous and unwanted predicament. I've had a look at the offending bulkhead and it appears to be properly fitted so I was thinking design issue except that I would have expected to have read about it online.
Anyone else have this issue? I'm only a size 10 shore too so nothing out of the ordinary.
