The service engine soon sign came on yesterday on my 2007 328xi and I checked the computer and it said cylinder 1 misfire. I am pretty sure the coil has gone bad as I recently replaced another coil about 2 months ago. The car drives pretty rough and makes a clicking sound. I need to go to work for the next 3-4 days until the parts come in. I will be changing all the old coils this time. My question is that is safe to drive with the misfire? Can I cause greater damage to the car by driving it without changing the coil over the next few days? All input will be appreciated!!
