Hey guys,
I have a 2007 328xi on the stock 16" wheels - Horrible I know.
I'm getting the ball rolling with my install of KW V1's by talking to my mechanic, and upgrading to staggered 18" wheels, and his only concern from past experience was the need for camber plates.
He said that the last time they did V1s, camber plates were needed so that the car didn't eat tires like candy. (They also did a lot of other work, basically giving the guy a full M3 suspension, so he wasn't sure if I would have the problem with just the coil over upgrade.)
I haven't heard anything about that from most of you guys here, but I just wanted to double check.
I'm not worried about tracking my car or anything, just want a much better handling and feeling car as my daily driver.
So in any of your experiences have you had tire wear issues after the KW-V1 install? Did you get camber plates done as well? If so what kind would you suggest with the KW-V1?
Thanks in advance!
