Footwell Module (FRM) HELP

vendredi 21 mars 2014

Alright so I was wondering if anyone could help me debug an issue I am having with my 09 335 X-Drive. About 6 months ago my xeon lights seemed to not be aimed as high. They do not seem to light up the road like they use too. I watch them cycle when I start the car, by going up and coming down, but it doesn't seem to be aimed as high. They also don't seem dimmer. I read faults on the car and saw that the connection to the front rid height sensor failed. I called the dealership and they said it's been 5 years since they have ever had to replace that sensor and to just check that it was still connected. I checked and it's still connected. About 2 months ago I got a bulb indicator in my dash with a CC-ID of 134 (Brake Light Right, Failure). The brake light is still working, but I read that sometimes the connectors get corrosion or come loose. So I unplugged the harness and checked the connector and there is no corrosion or any hint of moisture in the tail light. The reason I am looking at the FRM is because both the CC-ID 134 and the xeon height is controlled by it. Does anyone know how I can debug if my FRM is faulty?

Thanks in advance!
