F30 run-flats prone to bubbles?

So I'm wondering; obviously it's pothole season and stuff like this can happen. I have not hit any devastating potholes, a couple of jolts and that's it. Well, BOTH of my front tires have bubbles in the sidewalls. Is this common for these tires, or do I possibly have tires from a defective set? I think this is absolutely ridiculous and was wondering if any argument with BMW would hold water. I'm certainly not going to keep buying these pieces of shit if this is considered normal.
