Looking for a Ride along in Richmond
I'm thinking about adding a JB4 or Cobbaccess Port performance enhancement to my car, since the CPO has recently expired. It is a 2007 E92. However, I would like to have some direct knowledge regarding what I'm getting into. I would be very greatful if someone close to Richmond would help with this. Thank you.
Bmw Comp Warranty - Advice Please

I'm actively looking for a 335i and I will find one soon, I hope.
I was thinking about taking BMW's comp warranty for piece of mind. I've got quotes for both sides of 60k, so I know what the numbers roughly look like
Anyone have experience of this product, both positive and negative? Is it like any old warranty that they always get out of. Example:
a few years back my M3's vanos unit went pop not long after buying it. The warranty company (RAC I think) said the lack of oil was the cause. But the lack of oil was because the Vanos went, ejecting all the oil. i.e one failure led to another failure which led to another etc etc.
Advice most welcome

BIMMERFEST 2014!! Who's going to be there?
Hey guys I can't tell you guys how stoked I am about Bimmerfest. This is the first year I will be attending with my own Bimmer. Last year I was there I took my 650+ HP CL55 and that didn't do me any good lol.

I am new to this forum and just picked up me new toy last thursday and i tell you it was a busy 7 days :)
I wanted to find out what you guys think and what should i expect.
Now this is how we have met last week monday.....
Barely could contain my self to wait till last week thursday delivery
When i picked it up wow what a pleasure to drive but i did not enjoy fully the tranny as i got out of manual to auto and paddle shifters so i did talk to my old buddy and On monday had flashed the transmission software with alpina b3 tune and since i have already car in his shop he flashed the ecu with mega-speed.de german software.
Boy i tell you it flyes.
When you are in full auto it is very smooth and once you go to Sport mode its a rocket.
Like i said busy week......:happyanim:
Tuesday was the wheel day
Wednesday was the black grill day and today was the tint day
Sorry gents no pictures yet......
There are two questions i have for you:
Are you aware of any shops in mississauga decently priced to have my mirrors wrapped in gloss black vinyl and interior trim covered with dark black carbon finer film and if yes how much can i expect
and
with regards to drop hard top should i be lubing it up every so often?
is there any maintenance i should be doing.
make it three questions
any other things i could do to the car???
