Hey guys,
Got my AA sport I/C installed. I have a 2011 335is. I also got downpipes installed st the same time. I expected the car to be significantly faster and spool up quicker, but it kind of does not. I noticed that my IATs were at like 168 from just idling for about 10 min in 70ish degree weather. I drove a little bit but it only dropped to about 140. This seems REALLY high especially after doing a lot larger of an intercooler. I got it used, could something be wrong with it? Or was something overlooked with the install? Because now, my bumper is not flat on the bottom. It looks like the IC sits too low and the bottom of my bumper has to "fold" over the intercooler. Almost looks like I can't install a lip and if I hit the bottom of the bumper, I feel like it would kill my IC. They said it is normal with the mtech bumper?
But I'm more so worried about the IATs. The car seemed pretty sluggish and seemed like it did not want to get up and go like it did before. I did change maps to Cobb stage 2+ and it is version 4.0.2.
Any ideas??
