Foam Spray Gun before washing car?

Do any of you currently use a Foam spray gun to lubricate dirt and debris from the car before hand washing?



I'm thinking about getting these two products.



1. Gilmour 75QGFMR Foam Spray Gun

2. Detailers Pro Series Xtreme Foam Auto Shampoo



What are your experiences with this process?
