I've had my M235xi for almost a week now and it is FANTASTIC. I was hoping it would combine all the performance and fun of my 370Z and the practicality of my Chrysler 300S AWD, and so far I'm not disappointed.
I do however have a couple annoyances that I'm hoping can be overcome.
1) why should I have to push the stop button twice to actually turn off the car?
2) why do I have to pull the handle twice to open the door?
3) this car is intended to be, and will be tracked, where are my operating indications? Has anyone used something like the Torque app with BMW's?
4) no remote start? (and having to pay for keyless functions when they came standard on my 370Z and 300S that cost FAR LESS)
5) is there a way for my heated seats to come on automatically? (my 300S seats came on below about 45F IIRC)
6)what's up with the rain sense function? Tried it the other day, worked great for a few minutes then it just stopped. Adjusting the sensitivity did not do anything. Tried it again a day a later same thing, just decides there is no rain an quits working, had to go to manual mode.
I know it sounds like I'm griping, but some of this, especially the first three, are really absurd, and I'm thinking it must just be me not understanding how to bypass them.
