For sale is a 2007 BMW 335i coupe with 6 speed manual and iDrive with 66k miles on the clock, owned by an Aerospace engineer/mechanic. The car has never seen the track or been launched from a stop. This is not my first car with a manual transmission so the clutch has not been slipped excessively or abused. Car is always garaged, and engine was always babied before reaching operating temperature. Notable options include Comfort Access (so you can leave your key in your pocket at all times), Logic 7 fiber-optic sound system with custom tuned equalizer, Sport Package for the oil cooler, and the current BMW North America 2013 Maps DVD. Absolutely no expense was spared on the car. More than $8000 worth of modifications and maintenance have been spent on it in the last year alone. Carbon build up is a problem that happens with ALL direct injection cars, so a BMS catch can was installed along with an intake valve cleaning to make sure the car is always performing efficiently and making the most power. The car makes a reliable 470 hp and 505 lb-ft of torque (crank) on 91 octane and pretty much untouchable by most cars on the road. The JB4 has proven to be reliable even when installed for over 100k miles; a simple internet search will prove this. Absolutely all factory parts were retained, including the stock BMW 189 wheels with tire pressure monitoring system sensors with OEM runflat tires at 95% tread replaced in January 2013. A full set of these tires alone cost $1000. Car currently needs ZERO maintenance. A lot of the common issues with the car were done prematurely, since the whole point of preventative maintenance is to prevent a small problem from becoming a serious problem later on, due to ignorance and whatnot.
