Can I use OEM rear shocks to replace blown coilover shocks?

So the rear shocks on my coilovers are blown and in order to get warranty replacements I need to send them in.



Can I put my OEM shocks in their place in the rear until my warranty replacements come in?



What if I found coilovers that use the same spring rates, could I use replacement shocks from then instead?
