I got an amazing deal on some used 270M winter wheels and tires. I paid about $750-$800 for the set (can't remember exactly how much) shipped to my door. I put them on Friday evening, and I was wondering if anyone has ran these wheels in the winter, and if so, what were your impressions on them?
They don't quite fill the fender without spacers, so I was wondering what people use for wheel spacers, if any with these wheels on an E90 M3 or if running spacers in the winter was even a bright idea? Right now I have nothing on the front, and 12.5mm on the back, and the rear seems as though it could stand to come out a little bit further. I know it's function over form in the winter, but should I maybe use my 15mm spacers in the rear and nothing in the front? The front really isn't too bad without spacers, but the rear tucks way in without them and even with the 12.5mm spacers I think it could stand to come out more.
No pics yet, but perhaps soon? All in all I am pleased so far with the wheels. They are a good bit narrower than the 19" ZCP wheels, and it shows in the handling, especially at 100mph+, but they are a look I can live with for the winter. :confused2
