Just got the low oil light on and won't be able to drive to a dealership to pick up some oil. Closest one from work is 20 miles, 40 minutes away.
I have always used the BMW OEM 5w-30 oil from the dealership, and that's what's currently in the car.
Now the question is, can i top off the oil with a different oil such as Mobil1 0w-40 or Castrol 0w-30? Will mixing oils cause any problems?
