Pretty mild observation here: My trunk latches if it's really firmly pushed down, consistently, but if the force is more moderate my trunk is not latching until I push down more firmly.
Now I'm familiar with BMW trunks. I've had a fair number of F30 loaners, had an e39, etc.
They require a nice firm shove to overcome the stiff struts, which is great.
But this feels to me like my latch is just a bit off and I'm wondering if anyone else notices the same.
A consistent close can be achieved with a "slam" or really hard push.
...
On a seperate note, I find myself constantly slamming my doors because they are so light compared to every other BMW I've ever owned and once they are past their pivot point they really require next to no effort to close....the f80 is a very different BMW :)
