SirDaft1's Walnut Blast + First Dyno + Logs (help?)

samedi 2 août 2014

Brought my auto '07 335i into A-Spec Tuning to retrofit an oil cooler housing and walnut blast the valves. Sean and Brad said that they were the most gunked up intake ports that they had ever seen (pics coming shortly). Mods are JB4 Map 1, DCI, VRSF Chargepipe and upgraded 25 row Setrab Oil Cooler. Stock DV's, 93 octane.

Post walnut blast we dyno'd at 336whp and 371wtq but dropped considerably in runs 2-4 (315ish whp and 355wtq). Heatsoak?

Anyways, I didn't log during the dyno testing, so I logged a couple of runs tonight. I'm not an expert at reading these logs, would anyone be able to help me read these to tell me if they look normal? Here's the link:

Video from today's dyno...

On a sidenote: I flipped the oil cooler thermostat so it is always open and I ran the car pretty hard tonight. 67F outside and I couldn't get the oil temps over 235F. MASSIVE improvement over the non-oil cooled early '07 335 temps that frequently hit 260F+ when driven hard.

Here's the installed Setrab (Series 625... It's a tight fit!)
