After only 6 weeks of waiting for the plates paperwork :mad0259:, yesterday I finally got my Gran Coupe :happyanim:
I hoped to be the first one in Spain to have one  (probably being the first one to order it back in early April), but yesterday there was a family getting his GC from the same dealer. However, I was the first one to get out of it
I didn't see many AW versions yet (nor any F36 with the EU standard M interior), so I hope you enjoy the pics.
Regarding the ride, I only did 50km so far, so these are just my first impressions:

Regarding the ride, I only did 50km so far, so these are just my first impressions:
- My previous BMWs were an E46 Coupe 2.2 followed by an E89 Z4 23i. In respect to the latter, the GC of course feels completely different. Seating position is higher (even if it is a coupe). The car feels much bigger, especially when parking it: even if external dimensions are not that longer, I guess this is mostly due to the different driver seat position and the presence of back seats, which gives you the feeling of having a longer car (wrt to Z4). Nonetheless, the car is firm around the corners, way better than the 3GT I test drove.
- This is my first diesel engine car (even if I drove many diesels in the past). I certainly miss the my old straight 6: the sound was just incredible! However, this car has torque! And doing 150km/h at 6l/100km is not bad at all ;)
- To summarise, my first impression is that I miss the Z4 but give me some more time to get used to it (also when I changed from the E46 to the E89, I needed some time to fall in lone...). However, as a family car the GC looks gorgeous, nice to drive and very practical (again, to be tested properly...)
