I was gettign tired of my faux wood trim so I ordered 2x5 ft. of the 1080 3M CF vinyl. I have no experience wrapping anything in Vinyl and it really wasn't that hard in my E92.
Some of the corners aren't perfect but I'm really not that much of a perfectionist. There are some seams that are visible up close but I get compliments all the time and people have asked if it was a factory option. :thumsup:
Just wanted to share, if you're thinking about this, DO IT! It took me about 3hrs total to do the interior and would likely only take another hour to fix the edges that aren't perfect if I decide to.
and.... the exterior because [the modding never ends]!
Any suggestions on rim color? About to get them powdercoated and can't decide on a color!
