What is FEM (Body module)?

Hi guys,



really quick question, what is fem (body module)?

My service work paper says "removed fem (body module) to access fuse box"

My car had a problem with LED highlights so I took the car in, they checked the fuse first which was good then they reprogrammed the car entirely due to software errors.
