F30 Software Update (Steering/Stop-Start) on an AH3?

After reading through the threads on the update for the F30 that improves the steering calibration, I had my AH3 at the dealer for the taillight recall, and mentioned to him that my "auto start stop system was acting up" in order to try to get the software update. He was aware of my real reasoning for wanting the update, but needed the complaint in order to approve the update. I told him I was concerned that it might not apply to the activehybrid because of the differences in its start-stop system. Sure enough, a few hours later he calls and says that there was no bulletin for the AH3 and no outstanding updates...so how in the hell am I going to get the updated steering calibration? :confused2
