Long time lurker here, 4 time BMW owner (330i, x5, m3, now m6GC).
Hoping you all can chime in / help. My car (14 M6 GC with comp pkg) is still under break in ~950 miles on the clock and just recently the car has developed this very strange noise on acceleration and deceleration but only when the engine/drivetrain is cold. Happens also during revs in neutral. I can only describe this sound as "birds chirping" and it seems to be coming from under the front driver and passenger section of the car (ie mid section). Car is 100 percent stock.
Since this noise only happens during warm up I am guessing it's a faulty gasket of some sort?
Video attached. Also taking the car in tomorrow morning to Beverly Hills BMW. Interested to hear your thoughts...please chime in if anyone has had a similar experience.
