I'm a turbo addict and I've been boost free for 7 years; Eclipse GST, w/28PSI ;)
Knowing once you are a boost addict, always a an addict. I recently bought a 2011 e90, w/factory installed PPK, stage 1. Thinking that the single, little turbo wouldn't tempt me to be tweaked. That notion went out the door after about 2 months of ownership.
I've already got a Cobb AP and the VRSF: 5" stepped FMIC and Chargepipe; all ready for installation. But I've been going back and forth on the catless DP. I am admittedly wary of going down the road of making modifications that will start routine visits to either the dealership or an Indy.
I'm looking for first hand feedback from owners of the DPs, that have had them installed for a year or more; as it relates to repairs that can be attributed to the DP or why you may have chosen to go back to stock.
