How critical is doing break-in service exactly at 1200 miles?

I'm currently on 870 miles and I made an appointment with the SA for the 1200mi service next Friday (over a week later). I worry that I might pass 1200 miles by then. Is it OK to do it after the recommended mileage? Thanks in advance! :)
