Now that I have decided not to throw loads of money at a newish saloon and keep the wonderful cabriolet I have to look at the only niggling things with my 320 manual e93 I have at the moment. Its the lack of umph and the manual gearbox.
So have been looking at various 335i autos and the other niggle I have is the auto box, not the dct one but the usual one as fitted in most e93's etc. I did own a e60 5 series with the same gearbox and at times, especially at take off, I found it a bit slow and not that sharp.
So my question is to those who have 335i autos - how good it the gearbox ?
